Carbon Felt, 200mm *200mm

Carbon Felt is a soft, high-porosity carbon-fiber material used as a three-dimensional electrode and current-carrying substrate in electrochemical cells. Its open, fibrous structure provides a large accessible surface for reactions while allowing electrolyte to flow through the bulk of the material. The felt can be cut to size and compressed into a cell frame to set the working electrode geometry.

Carbon felt is widely used in flow batteries, redox flow systems, bulk electrolysis, and other applications where a high-surface-area, flow-through electrode improves conversion and mass transport. Because the felt is porous throughout its volume, it supports reactions across the full electrode thickness rather than only at a planar surface, and it can be pretreated or activated before use to tune its electrochemical response.
