This policy applies to orders supplied by Nanostore Ltd through nanostoreltd.com unless an accepted quotation states different delivery terms.
1. Where orders ship from
Orders are prepared for dispatch from the United Kingdom. We ship to destinations enabled at checkout, subject to product, carrier, export, sanctions, dangerous-goods, and destination restrictions.
2. Shipping charge
A single fixed shipping charge of £15 per order applies to every destination currently enabled at checkout. There is no free-shipping threshold or free-shipping method. If an oversized, dangerous, temperature-controlled, freight, or quote-only item cannot use the standard service, we will state any different shipping amount in a quotation before you accept the order.
3. Processing and delivery estimates
- In-stock items are normally prepared within 1–3 business days.
- Quote-only, custom, and made-to-order products follow the lead time in the listing or accepted quotation.
- Restricted goods may require documents or screening before dispatch.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. Transit times shown by a carrier are estimates. If no different time has been agreed, consumer orders will be delivered without undue delay and normally within 30 days; contact us if a stated lead time makes that impossible.
4. Tracking and split shipments
Where tracking is available, we send the carrier and tracking number after dispatch. An order containing items with different lead times may be split without an additional standard shipping charge. Check the delivery address before ordering and email us immediately if it is wrong; an address can be changed only before dispatch.
5. International deliveries
The £15 shipping charge does not include destination-country customs duties, import VAT or GST, brokerage, storage, or other import charges. The recipient is responsible for these charges and for any required import licence or importer information unless the accepted quotation says otherwise. Customs may inspect or delay a shipment. We declare the goods and transaction value accurately.
6. Dangerous, restricted, and export-controlled goods
Some chemicals, battery materials, deposition materials, or equipment need special packaging, documents, or carriers and may not be available to every address. We may request end-use or end-user information and may delay, decline, or cancel a shipment where UK law, sanctions, export controls, carrier rules, or destination rules require it. Amounts paid for cancelled goods will be refunded.
7. Risk and delivery
For consumers, risk passes when the goods are delivered to you or your nominated recipient, unless you independently appoint a carrier not offered by us. Business quotations may state different delivery terms.
8. Damage, shortage, or wrong item
Inspect the shipment promptly. Email sales@nanostoreltd.com within five business days where reasonably possible, with the order number, description of the issue, and photographs of the package, label, and goods. Keep the packaging while we investigate. This reporting request helps carrier claims and does not reduce mandatory rights for faulty, damaged, or misdescribed goods.
9. Contact
For lead times, tracking, delivery documents, or a shipping problem, email sales@nanostoreltd.com and include the order number.
