**Virgin Polypropylene Construction**
Manufactured from virgin (prime-grade) polypropylene – not recycled
material – delivering high purity, consistent mechanical performance, and
freedom from contaminant impurities that can compromise sensitive

**Reinforced Thick-Wall Design**
Thickened tube walls provide superior structural integrity under repeated
freeze-thaw cycling and the mechanical stress of cryogenic handling,
minimizing the risk of cracking or deformation during long-term storage.

**Thread Options and Temperature Performance**
– *Internal Thread (EO Sterile):* Cap thread is contained within the tube
wall, maintaining consistent contact with the sample seal. Rated for
storage in the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen (-196°C) through
autoclave (+121°C). Certified Sterile, DNase/RNase Free, Pyrogen Free.
– *External Thread (EO Sterile):* Cap thread sits outside the tube body,
preventing cap threads from contacting the specimen and reducing
cross-contamination risk. Rated -80°C to +121°C. Certified Sterile,
DNase/RNase Free, Pyrogen Free.
– *External Thread (Non-Sterile, 500/bag):* Virgin PP construction with
the same thick-wall build and silicone O-ring seal. Rated -80°C to
+80°C. Suitable for general cold storage and applications where
downstream sterilization is performed by the end user. Available in
orange cap (single color) or assorted colors (red, yellow, green,
blue, white) for sample categorization.

**Silicone O-Ring Seal**
Integrated silicone O-ring washer maintains a leak-proof, hermetic seal
across the full temperature range – no separate washer insertion required.

**Self-Standing Base**
Star-foot base design allows vials to stand upright on the benchtop and

(cryogenic gloves, face shield) when retrieving samples from cryogenic
storage.
