VSe₂ Crystals

VSe₂ (Vanadium Diselenide) is a layered transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) with a van der Waals structure, exhibiting metallic conductivity, electron correlation effects, and charge density wave (CDW) behavior. It is studied in spintronics, superconductivity research, nanoelectronics, and energy storage applications due to its electronic and magnetic properties. VSe₂ crystals are synthesized using the Chemical Vapor Transport (CVT) method.

Sample Size Options:
Crystals larger than 10 mm²
Crystals larger than 25 mm²
Crystals larger than 100 mm²

Material Properties:
Layered van der Waals Structure: Permits exfoliation into monolayers or few-layer nanosheets for 2D materials research.
Metallic Conductivity: Unlike many semiconducting TMDs, bulk VSe₂ exhibits metallic behavior used in nanoelectronic applications. Charge Density Wave (CDW) Transition: Exhibits electron-lattice interactions and CDW behavior at low temperatures. Magnetic Ordering in Monolayer Form: The monolayer structure shows potential ferromagnetic or spin-polarized behavior, supporting spintronic devices.
Electrocatalytic Activity: Used in hydrogen evolution reactions (HER) and other catalytic processes.
Spin-Orbit Coupling: Relevant for valleytronic and spintronic applications.

Crystal Structure:
